Slippery Elm Bark is widely known for its digestive properties and has been available as a herbal supplement for humans for many years.

When digested it creates a gooey substance called mucilage. This soothes and coats the mucous membranes lining the digestive tract, promoting healthy digestion and reducing inflammation. Due to this it can help dogs with diarrhoea, gastroenteritis, irritable bowl disease, sore throat, coughs and joint pain. 

It can also be used topically to heal wounds and minor skin irritations such as burns, ulcers and hot spots. It is high in fibre and packed with vital vitamins A, C & K.
